I am 47 and live in chicago illinois. I was caught in cctv for shop lifting perfumes worth $190.?
These perfumes were testers , half empty but was evaluated as new for $190. I had gone there to pick up my online order but was told to wait. The perfume dept was there and wile testing, I kept perfumes in my pocket which was very silly as they were half empty. I just got separated from my wife and was quiet upset.Please advice me if I should get lawyer or what to do not to go in my record as it is my first crime. what kind of punishment I can get. I feel miserable and I am not a rich man.

Yes, you need an attorney. The judge will know it's the first time you got caught and he'll also know it's not the first time you did it.
