Sonos S5 – The Best Music System With The Most Acceptable Price
My purpose to buy This Sonos Music Sytem is to play my iTunes in the whole of my house. I finally bought the Sonos S5s and the zone bridge. I did the setting up easily and very fast. The Sonos S5 is great. I really like this Sonos and I use it every day until now. The price is considered good since it serves me very good. I never regret to buy it, it is the best investment I did.The sound is great and fills my entire home. I hooked up a NAS drive and put all my iTunes music on it. Now I can access all of my music without any computers. Now, I can listen to all radio station and music in internet easily. As far as the S5 being portable it is. Sometimes I want to be relax on my balcony and I just need to move one sonos beside me. I just unplug it and plug it back in. iPod and it are very good controls. I am able to access the system from any where around my home and just put the iPod back into my pocket. I love this system.
I enjoy the stereo sound from my S5 unit, the software is very good.
Using its Alarm Clock Feature, I can set the Sonos Zoneplayer S5 system to start playing from my music library, internet music, or as I currently have it set to stream my favorite local radio station. I can plan and set everything as what I want, what day and what time it play, which songs will be played, when it will off and everything can work automatically according to the setting.
With The Sleep Timer, I can set it to listen to my favorite stuff, and then turn off after I've fallen asleep.
Pandora is one of my other reasons in buying sonos. I just found out about the goodness of Napster. For $60 I bought an annual subscription which included 60 downloadable songs which I would then own, as well as access to tons of albums and songs which I can add to the Sonos queue and listen to whenever I want. It is very different with Pandora which just give me general category and general artist choices.

Is a Mac or PC right for me?
I am wondering if I should buy a Mac or PC. Money is not an issue, so the extra money I would be spending with the Mac isn't a big deal. I do a lot of multi-tasking, video editing, and web browsing, with occasionally some gaming. It doesn't have to be very portable, for I am just going to be carrying it around the house. I have decided between 2 laptops.

The gaming requirement is a problem when
it comes to macs due to licensing; not
that you can't get any games, you are
just limited.
The mux of internet and video editing
screams mac to me. You don't want
to wind up with a virus while trying
to amp out your next video project.
I can say based upon my personal
experience, once you go mac you
never go back.
