I have two wireless cameras running on the 2.4Ghz frequency, and I've used them and they're great, but now I'm thinking about using them for a little more sensitive security purposes and I'd like to be able to use wireless cameras while still being secure, I don't feel like running hardline the whole way. Any ideas?
That would be pretty hard...you'd have to have something at the cam encrypting. The cam picks it up, transfers back to the receiver, it would have to be encrypted before leaving the camera and traversing the open air.
Encrypted wireless cameras are available, though...I'm not sure if they make an add-on encryption device for a non-encrypted camera. You may have to replace your cams to achieve this.
